Webster County Personal Injury and SSD Lawyers

Rhoads & Rhoads has offices in Madisonville and Owensboro, and focuses primarily on representing injured and disabled clients in personal injury actions, workers’ compensation, and social security disability cases.

Rhoads & Rhoads attorneys have had a presence in Webster County for over 45 years, and have represented hundreds of Webster County residents. Knowing the culture of the community and having invested ourselves in it has helped us achieve success for our clients here. Jerry and Chris Rhoads have tried several cases in Webster County with outstanding results. This includes automobile and trucking accident cases, coal mine fatalities, and railroad cases.

Rhoads & Rhoads traces its roots to Webster County. Its founding partner, Jerry P. Rhoads, started his legal career in 1970 in partnership with Tommy W. Chandler. Mr. Chandler served with distinction as Webster County Attorney, Webster Commonwealth’s Attorney, and was the longtime 5th District Circuit Judge. Jerry and Tommy established a successful partnership and were both very active in community service and development. Jerry served as Providence City Attorney/Prosecutor and his wife, Judy, taught school at Webster County High School and was also very involved in community service. In fact, Jerry still owns a farm in Webster County, and Tom Rhoads is married to the former Elizabeth Ridley, who grew up in Providence.

In 1974 Jerry relocated his practice to nearby Madisonville, and our firm, in both Madisonville and Owensboro, has continued to represent many Webster County clients who have suffered injuries and disabilities.

“Since I started my legal career in Webster County and was so well accepted, Webster County will always have a special place for me.”….Jerry Rhoads

Jerry and his law partner and son, Chris Rhoads, have been recognized statewide as outstanding plaintiffs’ personal injury attorneys and Jerry was elected by his peers as President of Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys (now Kentucky Justice Association), and Chris has been an elected KJA officer since 2002.

Rhoads & Rhoads has grown into a full service personal injury firm and is well equipped to represent the good folks of Webster County who may have unfortunately suffered injuries and disabilities. If you come to Rhoads & Rhoads, P.S.C., you will be treated like family and we would welcome the opportunity to continue helping our Webster County friends.

Webster County has been one of my favorite counties and houses some of my favorite people. I’ve had an opportunity to try several cases in Webster County. My father, Jerry Rhodes, has tried several cases in Webster County. In fact, when I was really young, I grew up in Providence and got to see my dad practice law in the Webster circuit courts. I tried my second case in Webster County and we got a great result, and the folks that I represented to this day are a few of my very, very best friends.

Another story from Webster County, there’s a community of Wheatcroft, and when I was young, they tried to dissolve the community of Wheatcroft. They didn’t want it to be a town anymore. My Dad represented the people of Wheatcroft and was able to go get enough signatures on the petition and they had a big hearing in court and they saved the community of Wheatcroft and to this day, at least we still have the community of Wheatcroft, but being able to represent people in Dixon, Providence, Diamond, Wheatcroft, just people all over the county has really been a treat.
